Whipping out these beautiful works from Spain, is Jon Juarez, an illustrator/comic book artist/animator/rock climbing enthusiast. Jon’s work is blowing up big time right now, and has many varities of projects on his hands, from working with fashion, to creating his own publishing house. As for all this work, he says he might need two lifetimes to get all of the ideas out of his head.

A key interesting thing is that while Jon says he’s not a writer, most of his inspiration comes from the word, in what he reads and how he expresses that. He’s deepyly inspired by earth, space (especially the endless interest in Google Maps), and says he cannot keep himself from using fuchsia and turquoise in his work.
